I have long followed David Brooks on public television's The News Hour and thought him mostly fair-minded, though conservative. But I loved this post. Thank you to Dr. Stein for calling my attention to it. It seems that more and more intelligent people are coming to recognize the importance of right brain communication and, for psychoanalysts, a two-person, plus analytic relationship third, as the de rigueur.
